Our Position

Esperanza Cocina de la Playa does not sell your personal information for money to third parties.

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, “CCPA/CPRA”), “sharing” can also include disclosing personal information to third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising, even when no money changes hands. We do not share personal information collected through esperanzamb.com (the “Site”) for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party marketing tags on the Site.

Cookies and Your Choices

The Site uses only the cookies that are necessary for it to function and to remember basic display preferences. Because there are no analytics, advertising, or other non-essential cookies on the Site, there is no cookie consent banner and nothing to opt out of.

Verification and Response

To protect your privacy, we will verify your identity before processing any request. We may ask you to provide additional information to confirm your identity and, for sensitive requests, to confirm that you are the person making the request. We will respond within 45 days. This period may be extended by an additional 45 days when reasonably necessary; if we need more time, we will tell you why.

Authorized Agents

You may designate an authorized agent to submit a privacy rights request on your behalf. The agent must provide signed written permission from you, and we may contact you directly to verify your own identity.

Third-Party Services

Our Site links to third-party websites, including OpenTable for reservations, DoorDash for delivery and pickup orders, and our gift card provider. When you interact with those third parties on their own websites or apps, their own privacy practices apply. If you want to exercise privacy rights directly with OpenTable, DoorDash, or our gift card provider, you must do so on their websites or apps.
